Honeywell Air Purifiers are not manufactured by Honeywell International any more. Their air purifiers are made by Kaz, Inc., but still under the Honeywell brand name. But the quality of the product is still very good.
Honeywell markets two series of HEPA purifiers, the "HEPA-Type" and the "True-HEPA" type purifiers. The former only filters about 99% of the impurities from the air ---- mainly table top models and are practically ineffective for allergy or asthma control. The latter filters 99.97% of the impurities from the air and is the one that SHOULD be used by allergy or asthma sufferers.
Believe me, that 1% can be a big difference.

You miss several important things here.

Honeywell Air Purifiers are not manufactured by Honeywell International any more.
